13 March 2020:- The perfect blend of a blogger and writer, Jaydev Gochhi is a renowned poet and his genre usually revolves around romance. After receiving notable success in poetry writing, Gochhi has gone ahead and published his debut book in India called “That kiss in the midnight”, published by Orange Books Publication. It largely focuses on deep emotions and hearts wrenching verses.
The theme, by and large, encapsulates heartbreaking feelings and a broken story in rhythmic blends and patterns. The genre that is being followed in the book is the new age and appeals to the youth segment who love consuming content around these lines. Several copies have been pre-booked already and request for collaborations with other publishing houses are on its way.
Jayadev Gocchi’s poetry has been shortlisted in the top 100 poems of the year both in 2018 and 2019 respectively. He has also been awarded with the status of “Elite Writer of the Year” by International Poetry for bagging a place in the list of top poets for the year 2019. Other accolades include being selected under four International poetic anthologies and journal in the U.S.A., namely “THE INTERNATIONAL POETRY DIGEST (2018), “THE NIGHTINGALE POETRY JOURNAL (2019)”, “FROM THE HEART (2019) “and “WORDS OF LOVE (2020) ” respectively.
Gochhi hails from Brajrajnagar, a small town in Odisha and is an alumni of DAV Public School (Soap & Ib valley area). He went on to do his graduation in Chemistry and was all set to become a scientist; little did he know that poetry writing will end up being his destiny. He began writing at the age of 18 years and went on to participate in India’s largest poetry contest, “The WINGWORD POETRY PRIZE”, in Delhi.
As Jayadev Gochhi’s debut book is about to hit the bookshelves in India, ‘I am expecting the same love by the audience this time for my debut book in India’, he remarks. Gochhi’s Instagram is highly viewed and looked at by both Indian and International celebrities. He is all set to become a sensation in the youth segment with his rhythm, style, and pattern of grasping emotions and penning it down in poetry verses.
