NUTRICON 2025: Ultimate You Sets New Standards in Nutritional Innovation

24/01/2025, Bowring Institute, Bangalore, India NUTRICON 2025, hosted at the esteemed Bowring Institute in Bangalore, concluded with a resounding success. Organized by Ultimate You, a visionary nutraceutical brand under the umbrella of Mama’s Creation Private Limited, the event brought together renowned experts in nutrition and healthcare to discuss groundbreaking advancements in the field.

The conference, conducted in collaboration with Sagar Chandramma Hospitals and the Indian Association of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (IAPEN), provided a platform for exploring both clinical and consumer-focused nutritional strategies. The synergy of these partnerships ensured comprehensive discussions on shaping the future of health and wellness.

The event kicked off with a keynote speech by Namratha Pramod, High-Performance Analyst at Sports Authority of India (SAI), who specializes in circadian rhythms and chrononutrition. She highlighted how eating patterns directly impact health outcomes. The IFPRI 2025 report revealed that 38% of Indians consume junk and processed foods, disrupting their circadian rhythms and increasing risks of obesity, Type II Diabetes, and cardiovascular issues. Chrononutrition, which focuses on the timing, frequency, and regularity of meals, offers promising solutions to combat these concerns.

Rinki Kumari, Senior Dietitian at Fortis Hospital, emphasized the pivotal role of nutrition in surgical recovery. She explained how personalized nutrition plans, including total parenteral nutrition (TPN), improve outcomes in complex procedures like Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG). She also highlighted how remote workers often experience higher stress levels, making targeted nutritional support essential for their well-being.

The conference also featured an insightful session by Akshith Reddy, Co-founder of Ultimate You. Addressing India’s alarming nutritional deficiencies, he shared findings from the Journal of Nutrition, which reported that over 70% of Indians suffer from vitamin D deficiency, while iron deficiency anemia affects 53% of women. With the nutraceutical market in India projected to reach $18 billion by 2025, Akshith emphasized the need for innovative products to tackle these issues.

Ultimate You’s product range—Ultimate Greens, Glow, Collagen, Fiber, and Daily Whey—was showcased as an example of how science-backed solutions can be seamlessly incorporated into daily routines. These products, designed to address specific nutritional needs, align with global trends such as plant-based diets and gut health supplements. Research from the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health supports this approach, noting that simplified nutritional options lead to better adherence and improved health outcomes.

“In an era of endless food options, simplifying choices is crucial. Ultimate You bridges the gap between modern science and traditional practices, delivering products that enhance wellness without compromising on taste or quality,” said Akshith.

The focus on women’s health was further enriched by Sreemathy Venkatraman, Chief Dietitian at Trustwell Hospital, who explored the connection between gut health and hormone regulation. Drawing on an NCBI report, she highlighted the role of the estrobolome in improving oestrogen metabolism and maintaining a healthy gut-brain axis. She emphasized the importance of gut health supplements in addressing these challenges, particularly for women experiencing hormonal imbalances.

Madhumitha Krishnan, Consultant with CABHN at TDU, presented a compelling case for integrating Ayurveda with modern nutritional science. She underscored Ayurveda’s emphasis on personalized nutrition, digestion (Agni), and constitution (Prakruthi), showcasing its effectiveness in preventive healthcare. According to the World Health Organization, 70–80% of the global population relies on herbal remedies, demonstrating Ayurveda’s relevance in today’s world.

As NUTRICON 2025 concluded, it reaffirmed its commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration in the field of nutrition. The event underscored the importance of collective efforts in advancing health and wellness across diverse populations.
